Ebyan Abdigir is a multimedia journalist and producer from Toronto. She has worked in all mediums of journalism: community radio, print, digital, broadcast radio, TV, and podcasting. Her work as a journalist-producer has appeared in the CBC, Toronto Star, Rogers Sports and Media, and elsewhere. As a producer, Ebyan has shared a Canadian Screen Award nomination.
Currently, Ebyan is a Master in Public Policy in Digital Society candidate at McMaster University. She has a bachelors degree from Toronto Metropolitan University’s School of Journalism. Her main interests are technology, public policy and social justice.
